"1. Change or clean air conditioner filters

2. Save time and money and have a chimney sweep to inspect and ready your fireplace for 
the fall

3. Have heater or furnace inspected and readied for the winter before there is a long waiting 
list

4. Inspect cable, phone, antenna and other like connections and replace any they don't work 
well

5. Check to make sure attic insulation is still in place

6. Drain water heater if you haven't done so in a year or so. Be sure to check faucet handle 
to make sure it works and have a hose end cap ready when you are finished."

Springtime clean-up in my garden gives me the same sense of satisfaction as a newly 
scrubbed home. 

Raking through our lawn removing old leaves, grass and fallen pine needles, trimming 
ornamental bushes, and sweeping our outdoor terrace furniture is akin to sweeping out the 
cobwebs, tidying the hearth, and polishing all my furniture.
